My name is Sarah King and I am a self taught pastel artist in York, UK.
I love all animals and love to draw them, dogs, horses, and wildlife.. I am able to create a pastel portrait of any animal. Please take a look on my gallery page for some examples of commission work I have done.
My pastel portraits are created using quality pastels and paper using a good quality photograph, creating a piece of artwork to treasure. My portraits make ideal gifts.

To work from your own photograph, it needs to be nice and clear, ideally taken by digital camera (film photos are fine too), occasionally I get requests where only an old photo Is available, in this case I can do the best I can but the better the photo the better the end result.
